I graduated from H.C School in Jan,.1949. Sisters of St Joseph (Brentwood LI)were my teachers w/ some Lay teachers. Went on to St Francis Xavier Acad. (again Srs of St J.) ....and then St John's Univ. Sch of Edu,. Holy Cross School will never be forgotten. It started me (and many) on the road to higher education. I attended Holy Cross fro 1953 to 1961 and then went to Xaverian H.S. I recall the Xaveran Brothers who taught there (Brothers Stephanus, Warren, Padraic, Renatus and John Baptist. Great shool and a great education. Esteben Lopez

I attended Holy Cross School from1956-1957.(transferred from St Francis of Assisi School) and i will always remember some of my best days there. I particularly liked every Tuesday because we were taught dancing. I will forever remember the box step. Great school with a lot of morals and education.
